⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wholeheartedly recommended
“This book made me think differently about things I took for granted. It is not just about marriage. Yiannakis covers human nature in a much broader way, and does it with logic and clarity. The writing is direct and enjoyable. Once I started I could not stop. A rare book that is both thought-provoking and a pleasure to read.”

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simply, very enjoyable.6
The author addresses the very large number of subjects and issues which unfold in the book, in a very interesting and novel way. It is fascinating to constantly be surprised by the simple truths that arise throughout the book. You repeatedly start questioning and wondering about things you have taken for granted or those you never got down to thoughtfully consider. The short but concise analysis of each issue makes for very easy reading. I also like the fact that each chapter is complete by itself and can be read independently of the rest. However, somehow, they are all skilfully linked to the main theme of the book which is ???????

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐A A fascinating look at the instincts that shape our lives
A bold, thought-provoking exploration of human nature and the ancient instincts that shape our lives. The author challenges widely accepted beliefs and invites readers to reexamine familiar ideas through the lens of the biological forces that shaped us. Whether or not you ultimately agree with all of the author’s views and conclusions, this book succeeds in doing something valuable: it prompts you to reexamine your own assumptions and become more precise about what you yourself believe across a wide range of topics in everyday life. Overall, it is a fascinating and easy read for anyone who enjoys questioning assumptions and exploring profound ideas about human nature and the human condition.

Yiannakis Varnavas is a Greek Cypriot author, entrepreneur, and independent thinker.
For several decades, he kept notes, thoughts, reflections and observations about human nature, relationships, and the strange contradictions of everyday life.
Marriage is Not a Natural Thing is the result of bringing all those ideas together into one book.
His aim was simple: to look at human behavior from a different angle, and to ask why so many things happen the way they happen, even when we don't like the answers.
A graduate of The English School Nicosia and the University of North London, and a former Lieutenant in the Cyprus Army Tank Forces, Yiannakis has spent his career building businesses across Cyprus and Ukraine, while never stopping to question the world around him.

being fully faithful
to the principles of the survival of our species.”
